Jeff Gross
Jeff Gross, PhD.


Dr. Gross brings over 30 years experience in the design, development and commercialization of Medical devices.  He currently serves as CEO of SummatiX, a joint venture between Canary Medical and BioScience Managers and was previously Senior Vice President R&D and CTO at CareFusion, Senior Vice President R&D at Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, and held a variety of executive R&D leadership roles within Medtronic’s Heart Valve and Spinal Biologics organizations.   He has over 40 patents and patent applications covering cardiovascular, orthopedics, wound healing, and smart implant products and technologies.

Dr. Gross received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, his M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Houston, and his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Memphis focused on cardiovascular fluid mechanics.  He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering and served on Advisory Boards for both the Georgia Institute of Technology and University of Memphis Biomedical Engineering Departments.


Joe Chaudoin

Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Mr. Chaudoin’s extensive sales, technology commercialization and market development background in the medical device arena span more than 30 years.  He most recently was President of C2 Advisors following his role as VP of Sales at ZYGA, a VC Funded Medical Device Company.  Joe held various sales, marketing, procedure & market development roles of increasing responsibility at Codman and Ethicon – Endo Surgery, both Johnson and Johnson Companies gaining exposure across a myriad of surgical specialties and patient care challenges.  He then assumed executive positions contributing to the growth of Sofamor Danek, the pioneering company in the spinal implant industry through its acquisition by Medtronic for $3.1B.

Mr. Chaudoin received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Arizona.  He then completed the Executive Development Program at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University while at Johnson & Johnson.

Dmitry Kochubeevsky


Mr. Kochubeevsky specializes in commercialization of Medical Software Systems by leading the product development life cycle from early product definition stage, through development and V&V, to market launch. In recent years he successfully delivered a number of medically regulated products used internationally in fields of Embryology and Cancer Diagnostics. Mr. Kochubeevsky has a software development background comprising over 10 years of team leading, and hands on development of products for Medical, Financial and Electronics industries with many of the products developed for Start-Ups at various funding levels.

Mr. Kochubeevsky received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Bar-Ilan University focused on Telecommunications and Signal Processing, and his MBA from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology) focused on Entrepreneurship and Management of Technology Oriented Companies. Mr. Kochubeevsky is fluent in three languages.
